Walsall DCS have been honoured to be remembered by friends and family of loved ones who are no longer with us, and at these sad times have still continued to support us. We would like to thank you for your kindness and offer our thoughts and prayers to you and your family.
Marilyn Hilda Haldron
Marilyn, born in Walsall, was a loving Mom & Nan and supported our group from the initial meeting back in 2008. A big Liverpool supporter and Football fan who enjoyed everything life gave her, from seeing her Son get married in Mexico to playing the slots in Las Vegas, and shopping in New York.
In 2007, life gave her one of her greatest gifts, her first Grandchild, Jordan-Lee, who was born profoundly Deaf, and she offered a huge amount of comfort and support to the family. As an ex-landlady she was a very popular member of the community, who is sadly missed but never forgotten.
Before being taken ill, she was told of a second Grandchild on the way, sadly she never got to meet Jessica-Mae, but we know that she would have loved her as she did Jordan.

David Mason was born & bred in Walsall and in his younger days he was a member of the British Western Association and took part in western charity events which raised a lot of money for children’s charities.
Walsall DCS was a favourite charity of his and that was why as a family we agreed that the funeral donations should be given back to David’s routes and what he believed in.
David was my husband and soul mate and a wonderful Step-father and Grandfather, he was a very private and stubborn man he never liked fuss but would help anyone who needed it and we all miss him dearly.
